Grain and Machinery Store

Objective:

The client’s objective was to achieve planning for an agricultural building to store both grain and machinery.

Proposal:

The client instructed Foxes Rural to create an application via full planning for a grain and machinery store. Our client currently has no storage capacity for grain on their land and is currently using contract grain storage off site. The proposed building will facilitate harvested crops, seeds and fertilisers to be kept separately and prevent cross contamination as well as provide undercover and indoor storage where it can be protected from vermin or being ruined by weather events. The success of this application will enable our client to store grain on site which will be more economically beneficial to the business.

What the consultant Says

An expansion to crop storage for the client was required. There were some ecological issues to resolve, and this was overcome through an ecological survey.
